Prenatal Support
Intentional Preparation for Birth
We’ll meet in person to explore how you want to feel throughout your pregnancy and birth. Together, we’ll discuss your birth preferences, review provider options, and prepare for a birth that aligns with your values.
Custom Birth Plan Creation
We’ll craft a written birth plan that reflects your vision and priorities. Helping you feel confident, informed, and supported as you approach labor.
Education & Resources
We'll identify local birth classes that fit your needs and debrief afterward to answer questions. You’ll also have access to a library of educational videos covering birth, breastfeeding, and beyond. I believe informed families are empowered families.
Labor and Birth Support
When to Call
I encourage you to call as soon as you think labor is beginning. I’ll offer guidance over the phone, and together we’ll decide when it’s time for me to join you at home or your birth location.
Continuous In-Person Support
I’ll be with you through active labor and birth, offering emotional, physical, and informational support to you and your partner. In the rare event I’m unavailable, a trusted backup will step in or I’ll support you virtually if needed.
Post-Birth Presence
I’ll stay with you for up to two hours after birth to ensure you and baby are stable. I can assist with initial feeding, take photos, answer questions, and quietly step out when you’re ready for family time.
Postpartum Care
Postpartum Visit
Within your first week postpartum, I’ll check in by phone and schedule a virtual or in person visit. This is a space to process your birth story, fill in timeline gaps, and check in on how you’re truly doing. If lactation support is needed, I’ll help you connect with a trusted IBCLC.
Ongoing Support
You’re never alone. I’m available by phone, text, or email to answer questions or talk through anything that comes up in the early days of parenthood.
Scheduled Cesarean Support
If you're planning a scheduled cesarean, I may be able to accompany you in the OR (hospital and provider approval required), or support you before and after surgery. I’ll offer gentle recovery support, assist with newborn feeding, take photos, and be there until you’re settled and ready for family time. Postpartum check-ins and visits are included just like with any birth.
